My name is Alain Gauthier. I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

If you know me, you will agree that my passion is teaching. I am the husband of one beautiful and faithful wife for 33 years, the father of five.

Over the last three decades, I had the pleasure to teach adults and young adults and found that there were very few topics that did not interest me. I do not pretend to be an expert at all of these, but I do think I am pretty good at some of them. I guess I could be called a renaissance man, or multi-passionate. For that reason, I like to share my ideas and what I have learned on the road to knowledge in the hope of helping others. Comments are open, so I would love to hear what you think -whether you agree or disagree with me.

I wrote my first web articles in 1997. I wrote about Sales and IT Management at first, and then Productivity became my focus. Since then I owned multiple websites and guest-posted on a few other. The problem with trying to keep numerous blogs going is that I found myself spread thin, so I recently decided to close all my other blogging sites and focus my professional and personal writing on this site. I will start by republishing some of my best articles, then publish a few items every week after that.

In 2009, I started developing and publishing online courses. Over time, because of that success, I received quite a few requests to help with online course development, so after a few years, I started working on a course to help others publish their work.

I am currently writing a book on ‘How to make online courses’ and plan to self-publish it this year.

I hope you will follow me on Twitter, or Facebook and that you will share the articles you like on your social media sites.

Thank you,

Alain Gauthier, RPT* *Registered Professional Trainer (CPTA)
